Why House Church?

When we first started Church Inside Out five years ago, the original design was to be made up of House Churches.  As we began to rapidly grow, we knew what we knew and moved from bigger house to bigger house until we outgrew them.  We then met at a local school who graciously allowed us to hold worship services in their facility.

Almost three years later, COVID hit and caused us to rethink and return to the vision God has for us.  Throughout the summer, we met in backyards and in September officially started moving towards House Church.  

We are now in the process of meeting in homes and organizing to multiply house churches throughout our community.

Our vision is Acts 2:42-47:
"And they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.  And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.  And all who believed were together and had all things in common.  And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.  And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all of the people.  And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved."

Join us on the journey as we seek to glorify Jesus, equip ordinary people to BE the church and make disciples!
